Ah, Blue! Nice to see you again after all this time. I’m doing very well, actually, and yourself?
[Gold’s face is caught between a grit of the teeth and a grin.] Hey now, that’s no way to treat your senior! [He punches Ruby in the arm.] Maybe I should change your nickname from “prissy boy” to “sassy boy.”
[Pursing his lips, Gold finds himself annoyed at Ruby’s sudden attitude change regarding the girls and snatches the junior’s hat off his head.]
“Maybe so, but I think I’ll treat you the sa—”
Ruby grabbed for the hat on his head, barely missing it in his hands. He turned to Gold and huffed.
“Give it back, you big lug!”
Platinum blinked curiously at the two dark-haired boys, even more-so at the unique hat of Ruby’s. She had heard a lot about them, both from Professor Rowan, and their occasional mentions in books and stories. She knew they were, like her, Pokedex holders, and she also knew many stories of their journeys and perils (some more believable than others.)
Even though their play-fighting proved them less mature than she had imagined, she still respected them as her seniors, and decided that it would be fine to tell them her real name, just like she had told the gym leaders of Sinnoh.
“My name is Platinum, but please call me Missy,” she answered in a quiet voice. “It’s a pleasure to meet you as well,” she added.
“Hmm, Missy…” He pondered over the name, finally agreeing with himself that regardless of how beautiful her real name was, ‘Missy’ was just fine as well.
“I’m sorry for coming off so…well, I suppose ‘immature’ would be the correct word. I promise that I will keep my bickering to a minimum in your presence; if you so choose.”
Ruby took his hat off and tucked it under his arm before giving a slight, polite bow. “At any rate,” he said, raising himself back up, “I hope that despite our first impression, you come to find that we can be very mature. Right, Gold?”

Well, well! [His voice booms from his mouth, stomping onto the scene and placing one hand on his hip, the other superfluously fixing the goggles sat atop his head.] If it isn’t miss sexy-senior and prissy boy! Fancy meeting you here.
[He makes a teacup grin, eyes squinting.]

{Ruby’s mouth curled into a smirk. He adjusted his hat and smoothed his shirt out.} Ah, the loudmouth. Always such a pleasure to see you.
And, of course, by “pleasure” I mean “hindrance”. {A smile appeared, letting him know he was only joking. Ruby turned his attention to the girls in the room.}
Oh, pardon my manners! Blue, it’s wonderful to see you again. You look absolutely lovely. And, as for you, miss…it’s a pleasure to meet you. I’m Ruby, and you are?
